Associate Professor Art Phillips specialises in production music and is the owner and director of 101 Music Pty Ltd®, a production music library catalogue consisting of over 80 library album releases with independent sub-publishing distribution deals across 90 foreign territories (www.101.audio).

Art is a screen music composer, songwriter and guitarist. He toured internationally with Minnie Riperton, Barry Manilow, George Benson, John Rowles, The Letterrmen, John Rowles, and Demis Roussos as musical director/guitarist, and has co-written the Top 10 Billboard R&B single ‘Here We Go’, for Minnie Riperton.
Phillips is a multi-award winning composer, including two Emmy Awards for ‘Outstanding Music Composition in a Drama Series’, gold and platinum RIAA record awards, and numerous screen music awards. Art has over 40 years of international experience including 2,000 hours of television scoring,

Art is a Fellow of the Academy of Music & Performing Arts (AMPA), a Fellow of The Australian Institute of Music (AIM), a Fellow of The Institute of Managers & Leaders (IML, Australia/New Zealand), a Fellow of the Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Universal Business School of Sydney (UBSS), and a Fellow of the Centre for Scholarship & Research at UBSS.
He is a recipient of 4 consecutive Executive Dean Awards for ‘Outstanding Teaching in the Postgraduate Program’ at the Universal Business School Sydney (UBSS) and is the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship at UBSS.
